AIA 2007 Contract Documents and Legal Risk Management Insurance Update

We viewed CNA's previously aired 2007 AIA Contract Documents Webinar followed by a one-hour Q&A and 2007 legal, insurance and risk management update with Laurie Randolph, a partner with the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson, and representatives from our office.

This was an excellent opportunity to learn about the changes in the AIA's 2007 Contract Documents from experts who have been involved in the AIA drafting process, who have worked closely with the AIA's Documents Committee, and who have seen the development of these documents over the last 30+ years.   This was followed by an update on legal, risk management and insurance topics of interest from 2007 -- including new legislation concerning payment of fees.
